A batch of 265 vaccines shipped to El Calafate is under investigation. It is one of the sections that remain open as a detachment of what was known as the
VIP Vaccination
. On this occasion, it is analyzed
whether
the vaccines that went to the tourist village
were distributed and applied correctly
. From the report that the Ministry of Health delivered to Judge
María Eugenia Capuchetti
, one piece of information stands out:
the only vaccinated people who are not listed as health personnel
are Cristina Kirchner's gardener,
Ramón Ángel Díaz Díaz and his partner María Soledad Zazo Gómez.
Both have the confidence of the vice president, it is not little.
Ramón Ángel Díaz Díaz is listed as
the only employee of the Los Sauces real estate agency,
investigated for money laundering.
When they took a testimonial statement in the framework of that case, he could not specify where the company's headquarters are located, he acknowledged that
the only one who gives him indications is "the Doctor"
(in reference to the former President) and when he had to detail what he meant by "general jobs", he summarized:
"I cut the grass and fix the garden" in the house in El Calafate.
He then admitted that he has been an employee of Los Sauces "for a long time, for 18 or 19 years." Despite the fact that according to the Official Gazette, the firm was established in 2006 with Máximo Kirchner as president, and with Néstor and Cristina as directors.
When he had to specify where he performs his tasks, the man also did not hesitate:
"In Mrs. Cristina's house

The following consultation raised a hypothetical situation of conflict in their work.
"Who do you consult with, who tells you what to do or other tasks?"
Again, Díaz Díaz was concrete: “They tell me once and I do.
The one who usually tells me is the Doctor ”.
Under that same trust umbrella,
María Soledad Zazo Gómez
entered
,
who
performs tasks in the El Calafate residence
, the one most frequented by Cristina Kirchner every time she rests in Santa Cruz.
Their names reappeared in the framework of a judicial file.
On that occasion linked to what was known in the media as
VIP Vaccination
.
The initial file investigated a list of 70 people who, in the words of President Alberto Fernández, "
skipped the queue" to receive a Sputnik V vaccine.
On the dates in question, only
essential health personnel and those of legal age with comorbidities
were inoculated
.
Judge Capuchetti after an exhaustive analysis of the documentation, concluded that although the behavior could be considered immoral and totally reprehensible, such performance did not qualify to attribute to these persons a criminal qualification.
The decision on the future of this file will be made by the judges of Chamber I of the Buenos Aires Federal Chamber.
Meanwhile, other lines of investigation remain open, including the one corresponding to the batch of vaccines sent to the city of El Calafate.
The magistrate required a report of all the people who were vaccinated with those doses, which was sent by the Ministry of Health a few weeks ago.
Why was the focus on the tourist village? The
Office of the Attorney for Administrative Investigations
(PIA), led by Attorney General
Sergio Rodríguez
, determined in a report that
there was no clarity
in what was reported by the Ministry of Health regarding "how many vaccines were distributed to national institutions located in the provinces and which to attend to the needs of the provinces ”.
At this point, Rodríguez focused on the case of the province governed by Alicia Kirchner.
“It was reported that the doses distributed to Santa Cruz amounted to 13,000;
in the province of Santa Cruz there is the SAMIC Hospital "El Calafate" (national institution);
in the distribution table by province, it is not observed individually how many of those 13,000 doses were distributed to the SAMIC Hospital "El Calafate" and how many to the province itself, "he warned.
When analyzing the documentation submitted, Capuchetti observed that the
265 people
vaccinated in the tourist village were registered as health personnel from
the SAMIC Hospital
and from the cleaning cooperative that provides services there.
There were also members of
the Formenti Hospital
, from the same town.
The excel spreadsheet also stated that a group of people who make up
the El Chaltén health post, located 213.5 kilometers from El Calafate,
were vaccinated
.
Until then, everything met the first requirement: the inoculations had to be performed on health personnel.
But in that extensive list,
only two people do not make up that category: Cristina Kirchner's gardener and her partner.
They were listed as
"over 60 years old",
which is true.
Ramón Ángel Díaz Díaz is 73 years old and María Soledad Zazo Gómez, 62 years old.
The situation in El Calafate is part of the administrative summary opened in the Ministry of Health by order of the PIA.
Within the framework of this summary, the head of the Attorney General's Office requested that
the reasons why sixty doses assigned to the Posadas Hospital
were transported on January 23 on a commercial flight of Aerolineas Argentinas to the Santa Cruz city of El Calafate be reported.
This fact was denounced by the deputy Graciela Ocaña: it seeks to know the reasons "why the remaining critical stock was not used and if the distribution of doses between hospitals is legitimate and not a violation of the criteria used for its original distribution", raised his complaint.
