Me Jean-Baptiste Alary, Me Alexandre Martin and Me Emmanuelle Franck had already requested the release of Cédric Jubillar in June but, at the beginning of July, the justice had rejected this request.
The Toulouse Court of Appeal had considered that there were "
serious and concordant
" indications showing that Cédric Jubillar had been able to participate in the murder of his wife.
The latter had been remanded in custody and indicted on June 18, 2021 for “murder on a spouse”, despite the “
inconsistencies
” in the file pointed out by the defense.
An appearance before the investigating judge scheduled for October

According to our information, Cédric Jubillar should not be questioned by the investigating magistrate until October 2021, and should therefore remain in detention for at least two more months. Unless, by this second request, Cédric Jubillar is released.
