Fabian and Alexander (both 11) from Schongau get “very wet” at the “Tigerenten Club Summer Games” of the same name.

The TV program will be broadcast on KiKA from Monday.

Schongau

- It must be a lot of fun, thought Alexander Tresselt (11) from Schongau when he read all episodes of the TV show “Krass nass!

Tigerenten Club Summer Games ”.

Take part yourself, that's it: Overcoming various courses through foam, mud and water.

Find your way through the labyrinth, look for hiding places in the bubble bath, slide down water slides or pedal hard on the tricycle to be the fastest to reach the finish line.

Special Fabian Schleich, who always enjoyed watching the show, was immediately enthusiastic about Alexander's suggestion to register as a team.

The two Schongauers are not only classmates, they also play football together, they say.

Schongauer describe the shooting of "Krass nass"

As early as November, the two of them, with the help of their parents, sent off an application video in which the boys showed what they can do. They jogged up the stairs on Hollberg at lightning speed, sprinted through the forest and over hills, effortlessly leaving every obstacle behind them, climbing up the slide on the playground in the neighborhood and ending with a “We don't just fight with hands and feet but also with the heart ”.

The show producers were convinced. More than 350 teams had applied. However, Fabian and Alexander were only accepted in July - a few days before the recording. Because of Corona, it was unclear for a long time whether the program could even be filmed with ten participating children. The mothers, Christine Schleich and Margit Tresselt, got off spontaneously, and off we went together to shoot in Schorndorf near Stuttgart.

Nine programs were shot there within four days.

"It was a bit exhausting," says Fabian.

"Yes, the monster waves at the end," adds Alexander.

And of course there was excitement.

Above all, it was a lot of fun for both of them.

“For example, we all jumped into the pool once,” says Alexander.

From participants to moderators to the unit manager.

Even if the course, which was run through for the first time at the time of recording, i.e. without any practice, did not go as hoped, the motto of the two was: "The main thing is to be there."

"Krass wet": Schongau friends have to compete against each other

However, there was one downer to cope with: Due to the corona, there were no teams this year, everyone had to compete as lone fighters. Fabian and Alexander were suddenly competitors. “We still motivated and cheered each other on,” says Fabian. They also got on well with the eight other candidates. The sportiest of them don't always have the edge, there is also a lot of luck in the game. In each episode, points are collected and a winner of the day is chosen. “He'll then get a medal,” explains Alexander. In the last episode only the two best boys and the two best girls fight against each other.

Alexander and Fabian were seen by the moderators as the "rampage pigs of the show", say the mums, who were only allowed to watch the events from outside and are very excited about the broadcast themselves.

“Even if we already know who won.” The boys are also looking forward to seeing themselves on TV and will probably often sit together in front of the screen.
