A sales representative of the Regensburg regulatory office resorted to unusual means to avenge complaints about him. Now the city seems to have reacted.

A sales representative of the Regensburg regulatory office resorted to unusual means to avenge complaints about him.

Now the city seems to have reacted.

Regensburg - Gabriele Weßdorn seems to be a woman who likes to choose clear words. “Catastrophic !!!” was their verdict on a Regensburg installation company in a Google review. A dentist from Regensburg rated her as “arrogant, arrogant and absolutely not to be recommended”. The problem: Gabriele Weßdorn does not exist. It is the pseudonym of Martin K. (name changed), an employee of the municipal public order office.

In the past, he had not used the services of the dentist or the installation company.

However, he clashed with the doctor or the head of the installation company in his capacity as a municipal law enforcement officer and then retaliated with poor Google reviews via a pseudonym.

This is evidenced by documents that are available to both our editorial team and the city of Regensburg.

Regensburg law enforcement officers on the wrong track: he used to be a police officer

Martin K. used to be a police officer.

He then moved to the burial office of the city of Regensburg and thus came to the municipal security service, somewhat euphemistically called the “municipal security service”.

The municipal auxiliary police, so to speak.

In the past, the 37-year-old, who also runs a luxury limousine service, presented himself quite confidently on his Facebook profile.

A mug with the logo of the police union in front of you, a table with some kind of data on one, an aerial photo of Kassiansplatz on the other PC screen, feet crossed on the desk, hashtag: #allesimgriff.

But the fact that he actually has everything under control, especially himself, casts doubt on the descriptions of citizens who had to do with K. in the past.

Law enforcement officers in the twilight: a hard hand against linen sinners

Even before his questionable Google reviews, there were complaints against the law enforcement officer. Two women (77 and 54 years old) whom he and his colleagues caught in the park with their dogs that were not on a leash describe him as unfriendly, palpable and speak of a threatening demeanor. The 54-year-old Stefanie R. (name changed), who clashed with Martin K. in January because of her dog that was not on a leash in Dörnbergpark, even filed a criminal complaint.

“I shouldn't have told him that he should have learned something smart,” she says. Because although she had already given the security officers her personal details at this point and simply wanted to go on, K. then ran after her, brought her to the ground and fixed her there. "I then lay there and cried," said the woman concerned. “Since then, I've been scared every time I go to Dörnbergpark. I don't want to meet him again. It's violent. ”The ad fizzled out. "He and his colleagues testified that I threw myself on the ground." They received no reaction from the city of Regensburg.

(By the way: Our brand new Regensburg newsletter informs you about all developments and results from the world cultural heritage city - and of course about all other important stories from Regensburg.)

The city claims that the administrative complaint and criminal complaint of the two women ended "without result".

"The KOS is obliged to act if dogs are allowed to run free in parks despite the prohibition," it says in a brief statement.

Vigilante takes revenge under a pseudonym: City of Regensburg reacts

The case seems different with the Google ratings. The city does not want to comment on personnel matters. However, a spokeswoman makes it clear that personal data that a law enforcement officer has received in the course of his duties “may not be passed on or used outside of official work”. But that's exactly what Martin K. did when he first checked the dentist and the boss of the installation company in question and then - after both had complained about his appearance - used their data to give their companies a bad rating. That now seems to have had consequences.

The city does not comment on this, but Martin K. responds to a request from our editorial team. According to him, he recently stopped working for the city security service. He left it “of his own free will”. The fake Google ratings have meanwhile disappeared, as has his self-confident photo from the public order office. The times in which K. had #allesimgriff seem to be over for the time being.
