A very unfortunate coincidence: this comedy was due for release in September 1997 but was canceled due to Diana's death.
In this "lost" film, actress Toni Collette plays an Australian admirer of the princess who is called exactly after her, Diana Spencer.
She eventually leaves for England with her boyfriend.

After Diana, the new generation also inspires screenwriters, at least on American television, where the Lifetime channel shot
