The Islamic Jihad organization, which has five of its members fleeing this morning, referred to the huge security failure and the success of the terrorists in escaping from one of the prisons in Israel and said: "We welcome the great heroic act. Victory over the occupation."
The Hamas terrorist organization, which apparently has no members among the fugitives, also praised the success of the security prisoners in escaping from Gilboa Prison: "This is a heroic act of determination and willpower in the face of the occupation forces."
In Jenin, the seat of the terrorist Zakaria Zabeidi, the head of Fatah's military wing in Samaria, who was among the fugitives, happy shots were heard in the air and coffee and sweets were distributed to passers-by.
Earlier, amid fears that the six terrorists had fled to the Palestinian Authority and possibly Jordan, a Jordanian who spoke with Israel Today also said that Israel had sent a message to Jordanians that the IDF was thickening and reinforcing forces on the eastern border on suspicion that the fugitives were armed and trying to cross the border into Jordan.
