Various changes came into force with the 14th Bavarian Corona protective measures in the area of schools.
An incidence-independent mask requirement applies until further notice, even after taking up work in the classroom. Cloth masks can still be used at primary school level, while teachers and students from grade five are required to wear a medical face mask. As soon as these are available, a PCR pool test is carried out twice a week at primary school level and at special needs schools. Until then, and at secondary schools, self-tests are carried out three times a week. Children who start school on Tuesday, September 14, must bring a negative test result from a PCR test that is no longer than 48 hours old or a rapid antigen test that is no longer than 24 hours old on the first day of school the class.
In order to ensure the most reliable classroom teaching possible, the arrangement of a quarantine of contact persons is adjusted.
As before, the health department always decides on a case-by-case basis, so that an entire school class does not necessarily have to be in quarantine.
However, there is a likelihood that this cannot be ruled out in individual cases.
As part of the present STIKO vaccination recommendation for children and adolescents from the age of twelve, a corona vaccination is also offered and carried out during class time.
Vaccination is still possible at the doctors and in the vaccination centers as well as at the mobile vaccination centers.
The school management informs parents about special vaccination offers for schoolchildren.
It is mandatory to wear a mask on the school buses. In addition, as in the last school year, the so-called "Corona amplifier buses" are used on particularly busy lines.
