A wounding case occurred in Sheung Shui. At 4:50 am today (16th), the police received a report that a man surnamed Lei, who was in his 40s, was suddenly chopped by 4 to 5 swordsmen while he was walking through the Xiangde Building in Xianghua Village.

Preliminary investigations indicated that the swordsman rushed out of a private car and cut Lei Man's hands, feet and back. The wound on his back was 10 cm long.

Lei Nan was sober and was sent to the Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment.

It is understood that the incident involved a land dispute. About 20 minutes later, a private car without a license plate was set on fire in Palxiang, which was suspected to be related to the case.


At 5:06 am today (16th), a passer-by discovered that a private car was on fire on Sancun Road, Hengtaishan, and called the police for help.

The front and rear license plates of the private car were taken off, the interior was severely burned, blackened and the stent was burnt. The police officers found a fuel tank believed to be a combustion aid nearby.

The case is classified as an arson, and it is believed to be related to the Sheung Shui wounding case at 4:50 am.
