The corona incidence has continued to rise in Saxony.
According to the Robert Koch Institute on Friday, the value climbed to 77.8 after it was 74.0 the previous day.
On Wednesday, 67.9 new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants were reported within one week.
Nationwide, the Corona incidence on Friday was 63.8.
Dresden - Three districts in the Free State currently have an incidence value of 100: Central Saxony has by far the highest incidence at 153.2, ahead of the Erzgebirge (125.0) and Bautzen (102.0).
The Zwickau district (42.0) and the Vogtlandkreis (43.3) recorded the lowest values.
The number of detected new infections with the corona virus increased in Saxony by 705 within 24 hours on Friday.
This means that since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, 301,255 people in the Free State have been proven to have been infected with the corona virus.
A total of 10,233 people have died in Saxony in connection with the virus.
