"I propose a vaccination quota of 70 percent or more on the total population," said the medical officer and epidemiologist who heads the health department in the Berlin district of Neukölln with more than 300,000 inhabitants. At the moment, the rate of fully vaccinated German citizens recorded is around 65 percent. A compulsory vaccination through the back door only leads to increased resistance, said Savaskan. "We are now at a point where authoritarian behavior by the state and authorities does not bring any measurable success for vaccination."
Many people are just annoyed by constantly new information on protective measures, vaccines and freedoms only for vaccinated people, said Savaskan.
They also didn't feel that their worries were being taken seriously.
Therefore, empathy is required above all: listening, educating and visiting the citizens with test and vaccination offers, for example in clubs.
