"After the exhausting months of the corona pandemic, we can all use the cosiness and glamor of the Christmas market stalls and the world of lights and are therefore pleased that there will finally be a Christmas market again," said Mayor Lutz Trümper (SPD).
Magdeburg - According to the plans, the Christmas market is to take place in the area of the Old Market.
It should be open every working day at least until 10 p.m. so that a visit can also be planned outside of the busy weekend.
The area and the arrangement of the stands correspond to those of the year 2019. No fencing and no entry are planned, the city said.
