Help that works. The local Christian aid organizations draw up distribution lists and only recipients who can prove that they are in need receive the food parcels. The transports are carried out by volunteers from the “FeG foreign aid” and are tax-free and duty-free because they are recognized as humanitarian aid.
All costs incurred are financed by donations.
Unfortunately, the economic situation of many people in Moldova, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Kosovo continues to be catastrophic and is deteriorating continuously.
The staple foods are often either not available for purchase or many people lack the money to pay for them.
That is why aid transports are a good help to alleviate the misery a little.
For the recipient, a “parcel for life” is often the only way to be able to eat something full.
Everyone can participate: For a “package for life” you buy “just a little more”.
This is what goes into the "packages for life":
“Parcels for life” contain basic foodstuffs, are essential for many people and are delivered directly to those in need. Anyone can pack “parcels for life” - here is the shopping list: two times a liter of cooking oil in plastic bottles; two times a kilo of wheat flour; two times a kilo of sugar; two times a kilo of rice (no milk or boiled rice); two times a kilo of spaghetti, two tubes of multivitamin tablets.

If you don't have time to shop or pack a box, you can also hand in the money for one or more parcels.
Members of the Free Evangelical Congregation then buy the groceries and pack the boxes.

The FORUM Freising is collecting parcels again this year. For gifts with a heart! Since 2003, tens of thousands of children in need have been looking forward to their personal Christmas package from Germany. For many of them it is the first gift of their life. The Christmas campaign "Gift with a Heart" by the Bavarian aid organization humedica e. V. in cooperation with Sternstunden e. V. and Bayern 2, makes it possible. The aid organization humedica e. V. (Kaufbeuren) brings these parcels to children from eight countries in Southeast and Eastern Europe.
This year tens of thousands of parcels are to be packed all over Bavaria again. In 2020 we from the FORUM were able to hand over no less than 299 "presents with a heart" to humedica. Will we be able to do more this year? To make this happen, we are again dependent on many hard-working readers:
Please pack a gift with a heart the size of a shoebox by Sunday, November 15, and give it to us at the FORUM, Münchner Straße 7, directly at the Freising train station, away.
Many children in this world live in poverty, war and injustice, without any perspective or protection.
Very early on, they are confronted with topics and an everyday life that overwhelms them and confronts them with existential problems.
There is also the possibility of having a parcel packed: For a donation of 20 euros under the heading “Gift with a heart”, the humedica volunteer parcel packers will fill a parcel.
In over ten other overseas project countries, such as the Philippines or Brazil, the "gifts with hearts" are also packed directly on site.
