Several large Deutsche Bahn construction sites will restrict train traffic in the eastern Ruhr area in the coming weeks.
A ten-day closure begins on the route between Dortmund and Hagen on late Friday evening (October 15, 11 p.m.).
According to Deutsche Bahn, the trains on lines RB 52, RB 53 and RE 57 are affected.
Dortmund / Hagen - The trains will be diverted until Monday (October 25th) so that intermediate stops from Dortmund to Hagen, to Dortmund-Hörde and to Fröndenberg are canceled.
Replacement buses operate.
According to Deutsche Bahn, modernization work on a Dortmund railway bridge and two level crossings are on the construction program during the lock-up break.
