The Freising association “Remaining” has committed itself to saving food - with its own café.
Now you want to expand and you need support for that.

- "Remaining": This is the name of the new club that has existed in Freising since the beginning of the year.
Since then, over 50 members in the cathedral city have campaigned against food waste.
The association operates a café in the Freising city center until the end of October.
Then the move to new and larger premises will be prepared.
This now also needs the help of the population.

“We want to create a place where people are made aware of food appreciation, where joint activities and seminars can take place.
Because a third of all edible food worldwide still ends up in the garbage ", explains Carolin Stanzl, one of the founders of the association.
The first food-sharing café in Bavaria will open permanently from spring 2022.
Crowdfunding via "Startnext"
Before the facility goes into the winter break, the association invites you to an autumn festival at Ziegelgasse 4 on Saturday, October 16.
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. there are dishes made from rescued ingredients such as stew, cake or hot apple punch.
If you like, you can also help yourself free of charge at the clothes rail and in the fair divider.
The association is also looking for support for the new café with the help of crowdfunding: donors can use the “Startnext” platform to choose one of many creative thank-you gifts (such as hand-made snack boards, rescue bags or a concert evening) and thus the opening of the café also support financially.
