A large fire broke out today (Saturday) in a mall in Qalansawa and buyers were evacuated from the complex.
Firefighters have difficulty getting to the scene due to customer congestion.
Heavy smoke billows in the area's sky.
To date, no one has been reported trapped or injured.
Firefighters from the Sharon station and the area were rushed to the scene, with the help of police forces from the Taibeh station.
"The police are working to evacuate the building as well as to keep the curious away from the place," the police said.
"Police are urging the public to refrain from gathering or arriving at the scene and allow the emergency and rescue forces to deal with the incident."
