Eyal Golan opens a special show for male and female soldiers serving in the IDF at a nominal price of NIS 10. The show will take place on Saturday, November 6, 2011, at 9:30 PM Reading 3.
"It hurts me that the government does not understand that it must increase the salaries of conscripts, so that they can continue to serve its residents without fear," Golan said. "I hope the Israeli government will change its decision and raise salaries immediately."
Golan also addressed the soldiers directly: "Like all the people of Israel, I am aware of your struggle to raise wages, and I decided that I could not sit idly by, I felt I had to do everything I could to give you back even a little for what you do for us.
"I turned to my team and suggested that we hold a special show only for soldiers, with a registration fee of only 10 shekels. My team and musicians joined the project, on November 6 there will be an evening full of my and yours celebration. I call on all my dear friends, colleagues and artists to continue with me "To hold performances for soldiers for a nominal fee and to support their protest."
