A truck driver died in a rear-end collision on Autobahn 6 near Bad Rappenau (Heilbronn district).
According to police reports, the man probably recognized the end of a traffic jam too late on Tuesday and drove his pick-up into a stationary dangerous goods transporter.
He died at the scene of the accident.
The fire brigade tied escaping welding gas with spray mist.
