Forward / center Derrick Kook is close to a conclusion at Hapoel Gilboa / Galil on a contract until the end of the season, "Israel Today" learned for the first time.
Cook (30, 2.06m) has opened the current season at Bamberg, but has played little so far and has partnered in just three games in all competitions.
Last season he started in the Canadian league and in the middle of the season he moved to the Belarusian Minsk.
He previously played for small teams in Italy and Greece and also moved to Australia and the G-League.
If he signs, Cook will replace the injured Caleb Wesson and will not return to play this season in the Northern team uniform.
As you may recall, coordinator Joe Chili was also injured and released, which in fact has recently left the Northerners with three foreigners on the roster.
