Report in Syria: Israeli aircraft attacked near Damascus, causing substantial damage
The state television network in the country attributed another attack to Israel, after an unusual attack was recorded in broad daylight on Saturday.

Israel airstrikes near Damascus, the country's state television network reported tonight (Wednesday).
It was further reported that the attack caused "substantial damage".
On Saturday, an unusual attack was carried out in broad daylight, with Syria's air defense systems intercepting "hostile targets" that attacked near Damascus.
A Syrian military source said two soldiers were wounded in the attack and that damage was done.

According to the Syrian Organization for Human Rights, a Hezbollah weapons depot was attacked on the outskirts of the capital.

On Monday, Syria accused Israel of attacking in the south of the country in the early morning hours, and warned that it was "reserving" the right to respond. The official SANA news agency quoted Foreign Ministry official in Damascus, did not specify which targets were attacked or if there were casualties.
