Without any loss, the Al-Arabi team topped the standings of the first group of the first-leg stage of the Football League, which recently concluded its competitions.

Team manager Youssef Al-Hamoud said in a statement to SANA, “The team started its preparations for the league last July, according to a specific program, relying on the club’s young players, while retaining a number of experienced players, indicating that the preparation stage faced many difficulties and was overcome with the support of the club’s fans.”
According to Al-Hamoud, several friendly matches were held with the clubs of the first and excellent divisions before the start of the league, and the team reached the required readiness before entering the first stage under the supervision of coach Agni Nasr.
Al-Hamoud indicated that the start in the first leg was difficult, especially with the first match with the Governorate team on the last stadium, but his team succeeded in winning and after that the state of harmony improved amid the commitment of the players to the coach's instructions.
