Fürstenfeldbruck - The legally designed graffiti in the Dachauer Straße underpass was illegally sprayed over after three weeks.
In the spring, the city youth council campaigned for the beautification of the underpass on Dachauer Strasse and initiated a corresponding competition.
The best designs were implemented in August in a joint effort by several graffiti artists.
The sprayers were legally at work for three days.
Afterwards, various landmarks of Fürstenfeldbruck were found on the once dreary walls, such as the Amper, the Amperbrücke, the town hall or the Fürstenfeld monastery.
The joy of the colorful works of art did not last long, however.
After only three weeks, parts of strangers were sprayed completely senseless with purple paint.
Reward of 500 euros
In their most recent meeting, the members of the City Youth Council decided to report property damage to unknown persons.
With this, the committee wants to set an example that the graffiti cannot remain without consequences.
The city of Fürstenfeldbruck offers a reward of 500 euros for relevant information that leads to the identification of the perpetrator or perpetrators.
