Corona in Europe: Austria imposes a ban on the unvaccinated, in the Netherlands they are all restricted
Both countries are facing severe waves of illness, and have chosen different ways to combat them.
Austria, where one of the lowest vaccination rates on the continent, will punish those who are not vaccinated and these will be able to leave their homes only in vital cases.
In the Netherlands they have decided to impose new restrictions on restaurants, bars and sporting events

Austria will suspend millions of citizens who are not fully vaccinated against the corona virus starting tomorrow (Monday) due to a record number of people infected, Chancellor Alexander Schlenberg said.
Only about 65% of Austria's population is fully vaccinated against the virus, one of the lowest rates in Western Europe.
Many Austrians remain skeptical about vaccines, an opinion encouraged by the far-right Freedom Party, the third largest in parliament.
Europe has once again become the global focus of the corona plague, prompting some countries to consider re-imposing unpopular closures.
While the Netherlands is tackling the spike in morbidity by imposing a partial closure on all citizens, the Austrian government, led by the Conservatives has stressed that it wants to avoid imposing further restrictions on the vaccinated.
"We must raise the rate of vaccines. It is shamefully low," the chancellor said at a news conference where he announced the new move after a video call with the governors of Austria's nine provinces.
Schellenberg took office in September after Chancellor Sebastian Kurz was forced to resign over investigations into suspected corruption.
