The Food and Health Bureau announced a mandatory test announcement tonight (17th). There were outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infections and/or influenza-like illnesses in five schools, which were included in the mandatory test announcement due to symptoms similar to those of new coronary pneumonia.
The schools on the list include Yew Chung International Kindergarten in Kowloon Tong (Waterloo Road), as well as Lei King Wan Caritas Lok Yi School, Sai Ying Pun Jiu Yan School (Kindergarten Section), Kwun Tong Shun On Village Christian Covenant Church Ken Lok In the fourth grade of the second elementary school and the third grade of Li Chengbi Secondary School in Po Leung Kuk, Tsuen Wan, teachers, students and employees must be tested on or before this Friday (19th).
The Xiyingpan Salvation School (Kindergarten Department) posted a notice on its official website, stating that in order to protect the health of families, the freshman interview day originally scheduled to be held this Saturday will be postponed for one week, and the interview time will remain unchanged.
The Food and Health Bureau's announcement stated that anyone who has been in the above five schools for more than two hours from November 4 to November 17, including but not limited to full-time, part-time and substitute employees, students and visitors, must be in November Tested on or before the 19th; if young children choose to use the sample bottle distributed by the Health Protection Center for testing, they must return the test sample collection bottle of the sampled book on or before November 21st.
Those who have been tested and completed the new crown vaccination between November 15 and 17 will be exempted.
