Today, the period of extending the stay of the Turkish regime forces in Azerbaijani territory for an additional year began, after the parliament of this regime approved a memorandum in this regard, in confirmation of the continuation of the aggressive expansionist plans of its President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to the Anatolia News Agency, a spokeswoman for the Turkish regime, the decision that was voted on and approved by the majority in the Turkish Parliament gives the Turkish forces the right to be present on Azerbaijani territory.

On November 17, 2020, the parliament of the Turkish regime approved a memorandum on sending troops to Azerbaijan, which expires on November 17, 2021.

Late last month, this parliament approved the so-called renewal of the authorization granted to the head of the Turkish regime to send military forces to Iraq and Syria for a period of two years, which Syria strongly condemned, stressing that the regional and international situation can no longer tolerate the practices of this regime that threaten international peace and security.

It is noteworthy that Erdogan, who is haunted by scandals amid the deterioration of his popularity, resorted to a policy of escaping from internal problems, including the stifling economic crisis and the decline of the Turkish lira by expanding his attacks on neighboring countries and interfering in their internal affairs in an attempt to achieve gains and increase influence and search for failed ambitions and dreams.
