Neuried
- The pensioner received a call from a false police officer around 9 a.m.
He informed her that criminals had been arrested and that a sticky note with their bank details was found.
Through skillful conversation, the caller reached the newcomer to several bank branches and, according to the police, withdrew several thousand euros in cash.
Handed money over to unknown perpetrators
At around 4 p.m., she handed the money over to a previously unknown perpetrator.
When the pensioner became suspicious an hour later, she called the police emergency number 110 and filed a complaint.
The perpetrator is described as follows: male, around 30 to 35 years old, around 1.68 meters tall, southern appearance, black neck-length, straight hair, dark complexion, well-groomed appearance, presumably dark clothing, white face mask.
He spoke standard German.
