The elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus organized seizures that affected a number of individuals for violating the trade in ration bread and shops with violations of over-selling and not announcing prices.
The directorate stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of, that the directorate’s elements seized a number of individuals for violating the supply of bread trade in the areas surrounding the bakeries of “Al-Zahra and the reserve Mezzeh Ibn Al-Amid on the road between the bakeries and the ministry building,” noting that the entire quantities of bread bundles were confiscated.
The arrests, according to the statement, also affected shops with violations of selling at an extra price for stamps, not announcing the prices of food and non-food items in Al-Asrouniyah, Al-Nasr Street, and Barzeh housing, and not showing invoices for clothing and household appliances in Al-Asrouniyah, Al-Souk market and Al-Nasr Street.
