Pushed from the roof - and staged an accident to injure her in the hospital as well: 32-year-old accused of attempting to murder his partner

The Central District Attorney's Office filed an indictment this morning (Thursday) in the Central District Court against Shaul Karni, 32, of Ephraim in Samaria, for attempting to murder his partner and his daughter, when he pushed her from the roof of a building in 2018.

Following the fall, his partner, 32-year-old Colombian Charlotte Albrado, was seriously injured and needed four surgeries.

According to the indictment, about a month after the first attempted murder, Karni tried to locate Alberado to try to murder her again, and to that end staged a car accident following which he was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where she was hospitalized.

When he did not locate her, he left the place.

About three years after the incident, the defendant recently arrived at a police station in Petah Tikva, and confessed to it.

At the same time, as she stabilized in her medical condition, Alberado was able to give a detailed notice of the incident.
