The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Australian government's designation of Hezbollah as a "terrorist organization", noting that it serves Zionist and American interests.
A source in the ministry said in a statement to the Yemeni news agency “Saba” today that this classification does not serve stability in Lebanon, nor will it affect the path of the resistance axis’s strength in Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iran and Yemen.
The source pointed out that some governments' classification of resistance movements in the Middle East revealed the falsehood of those governments' claims calling for peace and stability in the region, calling on the Australian government and other governments to review their positions.
Yesterday, Hezbollah strongly condemned the decision of the Australian authorities to classify the party, with its political and military wings, as a "terrorist organization", considering that this was a submission to American and Zionist dictates.
