Germering - There was a traffic accident on Münchener Strasse in Germering on Thursday, November 25, shortly before 5.15 p.m.
The curb of the traffic island was completely torn out.
"A 71-year-old Germeringer drove his Fiat car on Münchener Strasse in the direction of Germeringer Spange," is how police superintendent Tobias Hollaus describes it.
At the level of the junction into Königsberger Strasse, he finally turned too far to the left and drove against the traffic island in the middle of the lane.
The Fiat driver was uninjured.
There was massive damage to the traffic island as well as to the Fiat des Germeringer.
The
damage is estimated
at over
5,000 euros
.
The vehicle also had to be towed.
Due to
leaked operating materials
, the fire brigade and the building yard were also on site.
