Young talents, with their productions in literature, composition and music, attended the celebration of the Cultural Day, which was organized by the Suwayda Governorate Council at the city's Culture Palace theater in cooperation with the Al-Yamamah Literary Forum.
Poetry opened the festive paragraphs by a number of young poets, so Lynn Deliqan recited a sentimental poem entitled (Shawq is blind), followed by the young Maher Azzam with a lyrical poem entitled (Rib al-Hawa). ).
The audience listened to two poems from the poetry of Al-Nabiga Al-Dhibyani and Al-Mutanabbi, which were read by the two children, Aws Al-Bunni and Nour Al-Hussein, to play the role of music through the young Nawar and Qusai Al-Hussein, who performed pieces on the oud and the keyboard.
The celebration also included the opening of an art exhibition that included 200 paintings of different sizes by 15 talented young men and women with different techniques of oil, charcoal, lead and mosaic, the topics varied between human cases, portraiture and nature in multiple methods and schools.
The director of the Al-Yamamah Literary Forum, Qais Al-Hussein, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the event aims to highlight the talents and talents of young people in literature, art and music, in a way that contributes to supplying and supporting the cultural movement in the province with young energies, with a focus on reviving ancient poetry and clarifying the difference between artistic prose, activation and balanced poetry.
A number of attendees praised the artistic and poetic works presented by the young participants, which showed their talents and energies in a healthy and beneficial environment.
This event is the second of its kind for an initiative of the As-Suwayda Governorate Council, after it launched last June a similar event to nurture and highlight young talents and present them to the public.
The celebration was attended by official, union, youth and civil activities.
