Preliminary report: 5 trapped in a fire inside a tunnel under construction in the Lower Galilee
Four fire crews from the Afula station are working at the site.
Fire and rescue officials said the tunnel was covered in heavy smoke, and that crews were using breathing masks to rescue them.

Five people are trapped inside a storage tunnel in the Jordan Star in the Lower Galilee, following a fire that broke out inside it today (Monday).
Four firefighters from the Afula station are looking for trapped people, several people were rescued in a light condition.
A fire and rescue spokesman for Israel said that "a few minutes ago, a fire was received inside the storage tunnel at Kokhav Hayarden. Four firefighters from Afula station are on the scene. The tunnel is covered with heavy smoke, the crews are looking for those trapped inside the tunnel."
