Preliminary report: A helicopter crashed at sea, off the coast of Haifa.
Searches are being conducted for missing persons who were in the helicopter.
Large IDF forces, including the 669 Special Rescue Unit, are on the ground to assist in the rescue efforts. At the same time, Rambam Hospital in Haifa is preparing to absorb the wounded.
According to preliminary information, for some unknown reason the helicopter hit the water quickly, crashing into the sea.
The helicopter is equipped with buoyancy aids, and at this time the rescue forces are conducting searches in order to reach the missing - who are apparently trapped inside the body of the helicopter.
