Launch of the court specializing in "cold cases"

Its precise contours will be unveiled this Wednesday. Two candidates, renowned and talented investigating judges, are in the running to lead it.


The Chancellery is putting the finishing touches to the famous jurisdiction entirely devoted to "cold cases", these "classified cases", which have never been resolved.

Éric Dupond-Moretti, the Keeper of the Seals, will unveil the precise outlines on Wednesday.

Its principle had been recorded during the discussion of the law on confidence in justice, last May.

All that is missing to install it is a decree from the Council of State.
