This question was asked on Facebook by lawyer Erez Avraham Edri, who offered to purchase the surfers' share in heaven.
"Where are the brave ones who claim that there is no Creator ever? Come on, let's do business and earn 200 shekels."
Edri, probably thought that very few would want to sell his next world but was surprised to find that many Israelis prefer to receive 200 shekels in this world and give up their next world.
According to tradition, every Jew has a share in the next world (Tractate Avot), but in some cases it is said that the share of another Jew can be bought.

Many surfers flooded the post with comments, some serious and some mocking.

After two days, and no less than 40 deals closed, Adv. Edri decided to stop the sale due to multiple inquiries. In a conversation with Israel Today, Edri explains that his goal was to raise public awareness of the faith, and was surprised to find out how many people are willing to give up the "next world their".

In practice unfortunately it turns out that this issue is not in sufficient awareness.
It pains me to see that people are willing to sell easily what they do not believe in, because I do not think that members of another religion would have run to such an ad according to their religion.
I stopped this business because my goal is not to take people to the next world, but to awaken in them the Jewish point and believe that there is a Creator for this world and the next world.
