In addition, Czech Interior Minister Vit Rakochan confirmed, after a meeting of the central crisis cell that he heads, that the commitment to quarantine in workplaces is linked to workers in the sectors of transport, health, energy and water economy, indicating that the final version of this matter will be approved during the government meeting tomorrow.

Rakoshan explained that the goal of the quarantine within the work, despite the confirmation of infection with the Omicron mutant, is to ensure the continuation of the facilities’ work in the event the virus spreads on a large scale in the vital state institutions, with the infected person’s commitment to procedures to prevent the transmission of the infection that he has to other people.

According to official data, the total number of coronavirus infections in the Czech Republic has so far reached 25,30917, of which 36,624 have died.
