Starnberg - The municipal company Awista-Starnberg is receiving more and more complaints that illegal waste, especially green waste, is being dumped in front of the green waste collection point in Hanfeld.
Now there are fines.
The municipal company Awista-Starnberg points out that during the closure of the green waste collection point at Hanfelder Straße 100 from November to March, green waste up to one cubic meter per day can still be handed in at the Starnberg recycling center at Petersbrunner Straße 3b.
In addition, all surrounding recycling centers are available to citizens, for example in Andechs-Rothenfeld, Berg and Pöcking.
According to a press release, green waste can be disposed of on ramps from above using a fall grating without any problems and without great effort.
There is no need to climb stairs with heavy garbage bags or the like.
Larger quantities can also be unloaded at ground level at the composting facility in Hadorf, subject to a fee, all year round.
Use open disposal facilities in Starnberg
After complaints from citizens and the city of Starnberg, the municipal company is appealing to use the open facilities to dispose of waste.
The opening hours of all recycling centers and the corresponding facilities can be found online at www.awista-starnberg.de/entsorgungseinrichtungen.
"Illegal dumping of rubbish and dirt in public spaces is not a minor offence," writes Awista and threatens high fines and other sanctions: "Awista-Starnberg will report any illegal dumping."
