If Corona protests turn violent, Interior Minister Thomas Strobl believes that decent citizens have no business there.
"At the latest when violence is used against police officers, decent citizens move away from such a demonstration," said the CDU politician on Wednesday at a public meeting of the interior committee in the state parliament.
Stuttgart - "In any case, they don't gossip, don't jeer, and don't film - and offer criminal and violent offenders cover and protection."
Legitimate protest is fine, Strobl said.
However, the minister called on citizens not to take part in banned demonstrations.
“One can expect decent citizens to look under which flag they are running, with whom they are running, and what is happening to their right and left.” Citizens can also be expected to heed police announcements.

Opponents of the Corona policy have been taking to the streets in many places for weeks.
They don't always announce the demonstrations.
On the weekend and Monday alone, there were 370 meetings in the country related to the corona pandemic with 88,000 participants, as Strobl reported.
Numerous cities have banned unannounced protests, which have become known as "walks."
