Raqqa-Deir ez-Zor-SANA
The “Qasd” militia, backed by the American occupation forces, continued its repressive practices against the civilian population in the areas it occupies on the Syrian island, as armed groups of this militia launched a campaign of raids in the countryside of Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor and kidnapped a number of citizens.
Local sources told SANA reporter that "the SDF militia raided the homes of citizens in the company's village on the M4 international road, north of Raqqa, and kidnapped three citizens of one family and took them to an unknown destination."
The sources pointed out that "militia gunmen raided a house during the absence of its residents in the village of Al-Luqata and stole a sum of money and gold jewelry."
In the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, civil sources told SANA reporter that “the SDF militia raided the village of Swedan Island, east of Deir ez-Zor, and kidnapped a number of citizens and took them to an unknown destination.”
In an attempt to increase the number of its militants, the SDF has recently escalated the raids and kidnappings of young men in the areas it occupies in the Syrian Jazeera, and kidnapped hundreds of them in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Hasaka and took them to its affiliated camps in preparation for fighting in its ranks.
