In the pandemic, Narrhalla does not want to let the joy of carnival be completely taken away.

The result was a creative, Corona-compliant idea.

Moosburg

- In the truest sense of the word, the children can and should "look into the fool's chest" in the next few weeks in the former flower shop at Moosburg's town hall.

The Narrhalla released the colorful spectacle on Saturday, which is primarily intended for the younger ones, who can catch a glimpse of carnival as it could be.

At the opening, some members of the Narrhalla in their colorful costumes and FFP2 masks spontaneously started a polonaise in front of the building, thus pointing out a special gimmick of the Narrenkastl.

The whole thing is designed to be interactive, so that a piece of “Carnival-To-Go” can be taken home with a QR code in order to practice the polonaise for the next children’s ball.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The brightly colored glitter, glitter, garland and costume room was designed by youth leader Michaela Penker with Sebastian Wagner (court jester), Natalie Wagner (page), Lena Wagner (little court jester) and Thomas Rothböck (IT officer).

Ten-year-old Lena Wagner is very happy with the result.

It's all like a really good, bursting, colorful bomb, and that's how it should look.

What she likes best is that a lot of heart and soul was put into the work for the children.

"It is extremely important to us that we make progress in the work with children and young people," explains Narrhalla President Michael Ender.

"Since we can't have much presence at these times through children's balls or parades, we have to make sure that children still feel like carnival.

We try to achieve that with such campaigns.”Princess “Tanja III.

from building houses in Feldkirchnerau” thinks it hurts to see how restricted the lives of the children are in the pandemic.

That's why the Narrenkastl will not be the only carnival attraction for the youngest.

The Moosburg carnival regent will have a kindergarten day on February 18 with her prince and part of the court.

Then the little ones can get to know the royal couple personally in a Corona-compliant manner.

For the slightly older walkers in the city center, there will be an interactive “Foolish Shop Window Path” in the Moosburg shops from February 11th.

The focus this year is on the royal couples in the 90-year history of the Narrhalla Moosburg.

Then the sale of the carnival newspaper for the 2022 season will officially begin. The “Narrenspiegel” is available from Tabak Kiermaier and the Café Wochenblatt.

In spring there will also be a special edition of the newspaper to mark the 90th anniversary of Narrhalla Moosburg.
