Pop star Anna-Maria Zimmermann is in the hospital.

She is struggling with complications after an operation.

Munich – Pop singer Anna-Maria Zimmermann (33) recently upset her 80,000 Instagram fans by posting a picture of herself from the hospital.

In her stories, she shared that she was in a clinic because she needed surgery.

The reason: the mother of two suffered an umbilical hernia when her youngest was born.

"I've been putting off this surgery for weeks," she admitted in her Stories.

The fracture was minimal at first, but got progressively worse over time.

"In some cases I even noticed during sports that I was impaired," she said.

At the medical check-up, the confirmation was that the problem had gotten worse.

"Because I hope that we can be back on stage and rocking out again from April, that was a step that had to be taken," said Zimmermann with determination.

But not everything went smoothly during the required surgery: "It was the first anesthetic of 50 so far, which I couldn't tolerate." She admitted that she had to throw up violently: "I felt so bad." played crazy.

She actually couldn't get up, her partner who wanted to pick her up had to wait for hours.

"I just wouldn't have made it to the car," said the pop singer.

Despite what she experienced, she can still joke: "They must have looked at me and thought: 'She weighs 30 kilos more now' and gave me an elephant drone." The day after the operation was bad, but she's feeling a little better now .
