Berg-Kempfenhausen - Yesterday morning there was a serious accident on the state road in Berg-Kempfenhausen.
A pedestrian was hit by a truck and seriously injured.
The 59-year-old woman from Berg walked around 10.45 a.m. on Tuesday at the Milchberg bus stop, about 20 meters from the pedestrian traffic light, onto Münchener Straße and wanted to cross it.
As reported by the Starnberg police, a 59-year-old truck driver with an 18-ton truck and trailer was driving towards the mountain at the time.
Pedestrian is thrown through the air in Kempfenhausen
According to witnesses, the lady stepped onto the road so close to the truck that the driver had no chance of avoiding the collision.
She was hit by the truck, thrown a few meters through the air and hit her head on the road.
Passers-by take rescue measures
Passers-by and other motorists immediately started first aid and resuscitation measures and called the emergency services.
The woman was taken to a hospital with severe head injuries and operated on there.

The truck driver was also taken to a hospital with shock symptoms.
To clarify the course of the accident, an expert was called in by order of the Munich II public prosecutor's office.
During the recording, the accident site was initially completely closed until 1 p.m., after which traffic could be diverted past the accident site on one side until the road was reopened at around 2:45 p.m.
Heavy traffic squad and crisis intervention team on site
In addition to the officers from the Starnberg Police Inspectorate, the heavy vehicle squad from the Fürstenfeldbruck Traffic Police Inspectorate and the rescue service and crisis intervention team from the Bavarian Red Cross were also deployed.
The volunteer fire brigade Berg provided first aid with the first responder group and was on site with another 15 emergency services for traffic control and subsequent road cleaning.
