Donald Trump Junior's girlfriend has so far not cooperated sufficiently in the process of storming the US Capitol.

Now comes the official summons.

Washington DC - She was not informed in advance that members of the investigative committee would be present and able to participate in her voluntary questioning, the 52-year-old fiancee of Donald Trump Jr* said according to the subpoena.

With this reason, Kimberly Guilfoyle ended the conversation abruptly, reports the news platform Axios.

The court's letter also indicated that Guilfoyle - contrary to her claims that she wanted to cooperate - did not submit all the required documents.

The investigative committee is investigating the events of January 6, 2021, which involved the storming of the US Capitol*.

Ex-President Donald Trump* had recently incited his supporters at a rally that his election victory had been stolen.

Five people were killed, including a police officer.

A few months later, he described the storm as a "peaceful demonstration"*.

In the process, people from Trump's immediate environment are being interviewed, including former Fow News presenter * Guilfoyle.

The committee has evidence that Guilfoyle was in direct contact with key people and raised funds for the rally just before the U.S. Capitol was stormed, the panel said.

Therefore, documents were requested from her and she was asked for an interview.

USA – Trump confidants are questioned, the court speaks of “enough evidence” for the first time

Because Guilfoyle did not keep her original promise for a voluntary interview, she will now be officially subpoenaed, according to the House Special Committee.

"We expect her to obey the law and cooperate," it said.

In a letter dated Wednesday (03/02/2022), according to a report by the New York Times, the court officially declared for the first time that there was sufficient evidence to accuse ex-President Donald Trump of illegal actions in the wake of the Capitol storm.

According to the subpoena, a meeting took place in the White House on the morning of January 6, 2021 with "some family members" of Trump and "others".

The committee has already spoken to dozens of witnesses - but some of those summoned refuse to cooperate.

Trump's former chief strategist Steve Bannon must therefore answer in court.

The same threatens Trump's former chief of staff Mark Meadows.
