The Chairman of the Hospital Authority, Fan Hung-ling, described: "Timely rain

Xu Deyi pointed out that the fifth wave of the epidemic is very severe. In order to prevent the cases from deteriorating, a large amount of medical support is needed. One of the bottlenecks is manpower. The 75 mainland medical and nursing staff who came to Hong Kong this time are all experienced, and they are mainly in the Asia-World-Expo community. It is believed that the work on treatment facilities can be increased in collaboration with the Hospital Authority so that patients can receive appropriate treatment.

Fan Hongling described the mainland medical team as "timely rain", because the work pressure of the HA staff is very heavy. So far, more than 12,000 patients have been received, and 10% of the 90,000 staff have been infected. It is hoped that the mainland team can open more beds after they come to Hong Kong. Fan also pointed out that the mainland team has rich experience in the treatment of new crowns, and hopes to learn from them in many aspects, improve the medical standard in Hong Kong, and reduce severe and mortality.
