Several groups take care of the arrivals

The couple emphasized that it was not least their large circle of friends and acquaintances who supported and encouraged them in every possible way.

About half of the 60 Ukrainians who were only brought to Markt Schwaben by the Schedls are said to have stayed in the market town for the time being.
Either staying with private individuals, or partly in the Comfort Hotel Georgenhof near the Markt Schwabener Bahnhof.
According to the municipal administration, 53 Ukraine refugees are currently living there.
Since it is a hotel garni chain that also operates hotels in the Ukraine, the supply of food presented a new challenge, says Stolze.
The mayor is therefore particularly grateful that at least three local restaurant operators are now taking care of the hotel residents.
Through conversions in the old building yard area, Stolze said yesterday, the municipality will now create the opportunity for the refugees to prepare their meals in a local kitchen.
The Swabian Children's Fund is asking for additional donations because the existing donation pot should not be touched
During a meeting of the Swabian Children's Fund in the town hall and at a meeting with representatives of various local groups on Wednesday evening in "Il Lago", it was emphasized that the local Ukraine aid should be coordinated as best as possible this year and ideally also generate synergies.
The Children's Fund decided to take an active part in supporting Ukrainian children in Markt Schwaben.
It was emphasized that the current financial stock of almost 12,000 euros should not be touched.
The fund is therefore asking for new donations that, if desired (“Ukraine” extra note on the transfer), should specifically benefit the Ukrainian children.
