Damascus-SANA
Temperatures remain 3 to 6 degrees below their average as a result of the country being affected by a weak extension of a shallow depression accompanied by cold and humid western currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
In its morning bulletin, the Directorate General of Meteorology expected that the weather will continue to be partly cloudy in general, with a chance of scattered showers of rain, especially over the northern, central and island regions. The weather will remain cold at night, warning of the formation of ice and frost in the mountainous heights.
The winds will be west to southwesterly, between light and moderate, with active gusts at times, especially in the southern region. The sea is light to medium in height.
Tomorrow, temperatures will remain 4 to 6 degrees below their average, and the weather will be between clear and partly cloudy in general, with warnings of the formation of ice and the occurrence of frost on the mountainous heights and fog in the northeastern regions during the early morning hours.
