A 70-year-old pensioner has given free rein to his frustration with the way the Brucker job center works.

The man even made a death threat.

The man now had to answer for this in court.

Fürstenfeldbruck – “I will shoot him” is said to have said the accused to a job center assistant on the phone.

I meant their boss.

The mechanical engineer, who had gone bankrupt with his own business and now lives on a pension of 1,000 euros, was not concerned at all with himself and a suicide attempt is paraplegic.

In this honorary capacity, the pensioner got into a procedural dispute with the job center.

"It's not about me, it's about the fate of my protégé," the accused tried to justify his emotional outburst during a phone call to the authorities.

"What a mess you have here, I'll finish you off otherwise." The accused did not deny that he said this.

What was meant was a hearing before the social court.

There was no mention of "shooting".

Third time in court

His lawyer spoke of inconsistencies in the statements made by the witness from the job center.

In addition, there is no tape recording of the phone call.

"He was angry," the lawyer admitted to his client's behavior, "but he didn't say it."

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular FFB newsletter.)

However: The 70-year-old, who described himself as “extremely sensitive to justice” because a lot of injustice had already happened to him, had been in court twice in the past for insults.

Which then, despite his ailing health, led to his conviction.

In addition, the prosecutor emphasized in her plea that "threats of this kind are to be taken seriously in today's world".

The district court sentenced the engineer to 90 daily rates of 25 euros each for disturbing the public peace and threatening to commit a crime.

The judge stayed below the sentence requested by the prosecutor.

This had demanded 120 daily rates.

Incidentally, the pensioner had won the case before the social court, which was indirectly the cause of the indictment, for his protégé.
