Child porn: Police search six apartments

Men between the ages of 25 and 49 have been targeted by the Kripo Erding for child pornography.

– Six apartments in the districts of Erding, Ebersberg and Freising were searched in the early hours of Maundy Thursday.
The accused men between the ages of 25 and 49 are suspected of possessing or distributing child pornographic files, according to the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North.
30 officers from the criminal police, the central emergency services in Erding and the local police departments were involved in the action, which was led by the Erding criminal police.
During the search, the police found child pornographic files in three properties.
600 data carriers were seized.
Their evaluation is complex, the investigations are ongoing.
The suspects were released after the end of the police measures.
In the fight against child pornography, the law was changed in 2021, with the result that the mere possession of child pornography, for example child pornographic photos on a mobile phone, constitutes a crime and is punishable with imprisonment for not less than one year.
