These described the "dangerous Israeli escalation in Jerusalem in the holy places, which was expressed in attempts to change the status quo and restrict the freedom of worshipers."
The two also talked about "efforts to stop the escalation and round of violence and restore calm."
After listening to the ministers and representatives of the countries and to the secretary general of the Arab League, the committee approved the condemnation of Israel.

In addition, the Arab League Committee warned against "these attacks and violations that express explicit provocation in the feelings of Muslims everywhere, and undermine the freedom of worship in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the freedom of worshipers.
The Ministerial Committee also rejected "all of Israel's illegal acts aimed at changing the status quo on the Temple Mount and any attempt to force partition in terms of time and place, and condemned the acts expressing a gross violation of international law and Israel's responsibilities as an occupying power."
The committee later called on the international community, and in particular the Security Council, to act immediately to stop the "illegal and provocative Israeli measures in Jerusalem."
The Committee called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities in order to maintain international peace and security and implement its resolutions regarding East Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, the Emirates news agency issued a statement on Foreign Minister Yair Lapid's conversation with his emirate colleague, Abdullah Ben Zayed.
The statement said that during the conversation, Ben Zayed expressed appreciation for the Israeli government's decision to prevent the flag parade from reaching the Nablus Gate area, and for the decision to prevent full Muslims from visiting the "courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque" from tomorrow until the end of Ramadan.
