Dramatic incident in Mallorca: The partner of a woman from Munich suffered an epileptic seizure while on holiday together - in the end the consulate in Madrid had to help.
Munich – Even the most experienced colleagues in the Munich fire brigade had probably not experienced such an “operation” all that often.
On Wednesday morning, May 11, the partner of a woman from Munich suffered an epileptic seizure while on holiday together in Mallorca and fell into a deep unconsciousness.
In her shock, the woman called her daughter in Munich, who then dialed 112 - and ended up at the Munich fire brigade.
Munich: Call from Mallorca – Munich fire brigade gets an unusual emergency call
In Munich, there was an immediate response to the unusual call: two colleagues, including one who spoke Spanish, immediately contacted the colleagues on the Balearic island.
There, however, the concerns of the emergency services were not understood and they were referred to the Spanish 112. As a last resort, the employees then decided to inform the consulate general in Madrid.

were able to initiate medical care.
