Two Eurofighter fighter jets landed at Nuremberg Airport on Tuesday.
It doesn't happen every day, but there is an important reason.
Nuremberg – On Tuesday (May 11) two German Air Force fighter jets landed at Nuremberg Airport – a rather rare spectacle, but with a special reason, as reported by

Accordingly, the Eurofighter landed at around 11 a.m. at Albrecht Dürer Airport.
"The background is that we are an alternative airport for Neuburg an der Donau," explained Christian Albrecht, spokesman for the airport, to

"If there were problems there because of bad weather, for example, the jets would land here."
Three peregrine falcon chicks hatched recently at Nuremberg Airport. The airport fire brigade took care of them.
For exactly this case, training was now carried out in Nuremberg.
"In fact, our fire department at the airport does not have the opportunity to practice regularly with the Eurofighter," Albrecht told the portal.
In an emergency, however, every move must be perfect, which is why the Air Force was instructed.
The Nuremberg task forces were explained how they can, for example, open the hatch or how to safely approach the ladder to the possibly armed fighter jets.
